The Next Steps

Finding a psychologist and beginning therapy can often feel daunting and stressful. When choosing a mental health professional, it is important to consider their qualifications, expertise, and experience. An essential ingredient for therapeutic success is feeling comfortable with your therapist and finding a good fit. An effective psychologist or counsellor is someone you feel at ease talking to — someone who hears and understands your concerns and has the clinical skills to guide you on your journey of personal growth, recovery, and wellness.

Dr. Dueck encourages you to explore her website for more information about her background, the services and fees she offers, and the FAQ section, which addresses many common questions from those seeking therapy. A resource section also provides links to various mental health websites and community services.

If you have additional questions or would like to book an initial appointment, please contact Dr. Dueck directly by phone or email. If you are interested in moving forward, the next step is a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to determine whether she is a good fit for you. If Dr. Dueck is unable to meet your needs — whether due to scope of practice, waitlist availability, or other factors — she will do her best to connect you with alternative services and providers.

As of April 1, 2026, Dr. Dueck's wait list is currently 3 to 4 months and is closed to avoid treatment delays. Her estimated waitlist times will continue to be regularly updated on this website.

If you are a first responder, health care, or  veterinary worker, or a WSBC case manager or LTD rehabilitation specialist/consultant, please contact Dr. Dueck for more information about reserved appointments available.
